Spiritual Adventure!

This trip is a spiritual adventure. We will take time each morning and evening to gather around the things of God, and it’s purpose is to challenge you to see what it means to be a Christian and measure your life against that standard.

We will rent or bring motorized fishing boats and motors, boat in to a base camp, (with an outdoor privy), stay there 4 days and 3 nights, fish, swim (boat to beaches), eat, sleep, read, talk, laugh, and/or hike. We’ll go in at Ash River, and likely stay somewhere on the shores of Lake Kabetogama or Lake Namakan. Rainy Lake, Sand Point Lake, the Namakan River, many islands- all are possible places we might visit.

We’ll be tenting, cooking outdoors, and eating very well. This is in Minnesota, so a Minnesota fishing license is all that is needed, unless you wish to purchase a Canadian license and be able to fish the north side of Namakan. Group size is not limited, and as long as I know you’re considering going, even late sign-ups (that week) are possible.

This trip is a youth spiritual adventure open to college, high school, and mature middle school students, but we are also open to adults or families who might be interested. Each day and each evening we will take time to gather around the things of God. A family could go, have their own tent site, have a great time together, and join us for the things they choose.
