Faith Church

Mission

Our mission is The Great Commission: "Therefore, go and make disciples in all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and then teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you; and be sure of this – that I am with you always, even to the end of the world"  Matthew 28:19-20.

Philosophy of Ministry

In our public and private ministries, we will attempt to find those people who are seeking after God and introduce them to the biblical truth about Jesus Christ.

Vision

To become a healthy growing church of 400 people

Affiliation & Statement of Belief

We are a member of the Evangelical Free Church of America through the Northern Plains District and have a Statement of Faith identical to the Evangelical Free Church of America.

History

We were organized in 1988 by a group who desired a place to worship, fellowship, teach and serve where Jesus Christ would be honored.

The first services were held on February 5, 1989 at the Law Enforcement Center. The church purchased Grace Lutheran in Breckenridge in 1992 - which was our home until 2002.

Land was purchased in Wahpeton in 1993 and planning began for a new multi-purpose facility in 2000.  Groundbreaking for our new facility took place in May of 2002 - with final completion in December 2002.
