Faith Church strives to be a place where youth are challenged to grow spiritually. We recognize that growing up today is complex. We don't have all the answers - but we are asking ourselves some hard questions. As we develop our youth outreach, our challenge is to move past the objective of providing entertainment and make sure that youth are challenged with: What does it mean to be a Christian? How do I grow in Christ? How can I make choices that will honor God? We have Adventure Club for grades K-6 - meeting on Wednesday nights. Through this time of games, singing and Bible lessons, children learn about Jesus. Junior high meets both for Sunday School and Wednesday night activities. The teaching times are designed to help better understand how to become a Christian and grow in that relationship. Senior high also meets for Sunday School and Sunday night activities. One of the highlights of the year is a Spiritual Adventure - hiking in the Beartooth Mountains of Montana, canoeing in Ontario or rafting in Colorado are the recent trips. These trips provide physical challenges - but also develop a deeper appreciation for Gods' creation and a challenge to live a life that honors God. For the college age students - Faith Church is located on the west edge of the North Dakota State College of Science and we desire to be the "church away from home" for students who are furthering their education. |
